Oyster Crackers

This is a picture of oyster crackers in a bag. We read about oyster crackers in Little Town on the Prairie and I wanted to know what they were. We bought them at Fred Meyer and ate them with clam chowder. Mama is reading the Little House books to us now. I really like them.

I like this picture because it's so simple.

Three King's Cake

This is a picture that I took on Three King's Day. Every year, we bake a cake with something hidden inside of it. We pretend that we are the wise men and the thing in the cake is baby Jesus. Every person gets one piece of cake and we eat the cake to see who found baby Jesus. This year, Simeon found it.

I like the purple light that's coming from the sun and the way the trees stick up behind the building. It makes me feel happy.

An Introduction

Hello. My name is Aidan and I'm seven years old. My Mama is helping me to start a blog. I'll be posting pictures and also writing about books that I have read. I'm very excited about doing this project. Here is my first picture to share with you. I took this picture yesterday when we started a fire in our fireplace. I like how it looks like the flame is twisting and turning.
